 year for MOCA’s Boardwalk Art Show presented by PNC Bank – We’re
  celebrating our 60th year on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront!\nThe Boa
 rdwalk Art Show is produced by the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art
  (MOCA), a museum and arts organization that evolved from the art show
  itself. The show is nationally recognized from small beginnings in 19
 52 that to date attracts over 700 applications every year from artists
  around the country representing 13 fine art and contemporary craft me
 diums.  More than 250 artists and 250,000 tourists and locals attend 
 the show that spans nearly 15 blocks along the Atlantic Ocean at the V
 irginia Beach oceanfront from 19th Street to 33rd Street. This beaut
 iful atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for public displays of art, fi
 ne food, live entertainment and a great vacation.\nProceeds from this 
 event directly support the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art and hel
 p fulfill our mission to provide thought-provoking art exhibitions and
  children’s art education programs. In the last decade, MOCA has pro
 vided exposure to the arts to over 100,000 children in Hampton Roads.\
 nThis year join us on the boardwalk to meet amazingly talented artists
  and see their work up close. While here, join in the fun at Family Fe
 st on Saturday afternoon at 24th Street Park or at the Back Bay Brewi
 ng Beer Garden for craft beer or wine and live entertainment throughou
 t the weekend. If you’re looking for a special treat, purchase ticke
 ts to the Boardwalk Beach Club for a catered lunch by Steinhilbers,
