SUMMARY:2nd Annual Extortion 17 Memorial Ride
DESCRIPTION:\nThe Extortion 17 Memorial Ride is dedicated to the memor
 y of 30 active duty military and 1 military working dog killed in acti
 on on August 6, 2011. Extortion 17 was the CH-47 helicopter shot down 
 by enemy fire in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011. All proceeds from the 
 fundraiser will go to \"The 31 Heroes Project\", (www.31heroes.com). E
 xtortion 17 Memorial Ride is hosting the second annual fundraiser on A
 ugust 3, 2013.  Registration will be from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at Smoked
  Out Fine Meats and Spirits located at 1375 Oceana Blvd. Virginia Bea
 ch, 23451. We will have the band duo Trailerhood out to begin the fest
 ivities!!  At 12:00 pm we will have a police escort to Virginia Beach 
 SportsPlex, located at 4001 Dam Neck Road, Virginia Beach 23456.  Arou
 nd 1:00 pm we will begin our commemoration of our fallen heroes which 
 will be followed by live music by local bands Herbie D and the Dangerm
 an and Freedom Hawk, food and drinks, and a live auction. This year we
  have also added a kids area full of fun activities such as face paint
 ing and bounce houses! So bring the entire family out for a day of fun
  all while supporting a great cause!  Sponsorship and/or Donation oppo
