Come celebrate with us as we bring the Luck of the Irish to over 28,000 runners in Virginia Beach, Virginia on St Patrick’s Day weekend. The event features races and challenges to accommodate all ages and skill levels. Enjoy our flat, fast and scenic courses along the beautiful oceanfront and recover at our huge post race parties that will feature live entertainment, ice cold Yuengling beer and much more.

This will be a St. Paddy’s Day you will never forget.

Feeling extra energetic this year? Then the Whale or Dolphin Challenge might be for you! Whale Challenge participants run the TowneBank Shamrock 8k on Saturday, March 15th, and then the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon on Sunday, March 16th. All Whale Challenge finishers will receive a Whale Challenge medal at the event in recognition of their special achievement. Limited to 250 participants. Dolphin Challenge participants still run the TowneBank Shamrock 8k on Saturday, March 15th, but then run the Anthem Shamrock Half Marathon on Sunday, March 16th. Dolphin Challenge finishers will receive a challenge medal at the event to recognize their Dolphin Challenge achievement. Limited to 1,000 participants. Be-bold and go for the extra bling–take the challenge!
