Flower and Garden Expo Highlights:

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES:
Children of all ages can join in the fun at the Virginia Flower & Garden Expo! The activity center is now located on the Expo floor next to the Children’s Miniature Landscapes.

Children under 12 receive free admission to the show.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
The 2013 Virginia Flower & Garden Expo returns to the Virginia Beach Convention Center January 25-27, in the Commonwealth’s most comprehensive event of its type. Produced by the Virginia Horticultural Foundation, the Expo promotes horticultural education for everyone from professionals to the weekend enthusiast.

This year’s theme is “Where Joy Begins!”

Show Director Laurie Fox says, “We’re very excited about our show returning to early in the calendar year. The timing is ideal as that’s when most people begin planning their landscapes and thinking of their flower gardens. More than a hundred vendors, exhibitors and displayers provide guests countless ideas and products they can use.

“It’s the one time each year when Hampton Roads residents can get information on virtually every aspect related to flowers and gardening, at a single climate-controlled location. Experts and knowledgeable professionals will be there to discuss plants, plans, products and practices,” Fox adds.
