Event Description

Hampton Roads help us Go Red on National Wear Red Day, Friday February 6, 2015 in honor of the American Heart Association, KMK Productions & Innovative Twist present the second annual Heartbeat Gala, a red gown and black tie affair.

Our emcee for the evening will be WAVY TV 10’s Award Winning Anchor/Reporter, Anita Blanton and will feature renowned Cardiologist & speaker Dr. Keith Newby with a live performance from Earl Bynum & the Mount Unity Choir presented by Bishop Kim W. Brown & The Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.  The Heartbeat Gala doors will open at 7:00pm and dinner will be served from 7:30pm - 8:30pm.

This event is to bring empowering men, women and heart disease advocates together for a night of heart health education, networking, and pure entertainment. KMK Productions CEO Kim Wimbish describes the event as an opportunity to “enlighten and bring people together.”

The Heartbeat Gala is an excellent way for all to gather and discuss the ways that members of the community may come together to help vanquish the scourge of heart disease in Hampton Roads. Business and academic leaders from a multitude of companies and organizations will be present to discuss steps they have taken to further the noble goal in ending this disease.

*A portion of proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
