The Oceanfront will come alive with the sounds of Positive/Alternative Music presented on the beach, in the sand. This completely family-friendly event will be held between 29^th and 30^th streets on the beach and feature Positive/Alternative artists offering a myriad of musical genres such as cutting edge Top 40, Hip Hop, Indie, and Inspirational. Many of the featured artists can be found on Billboard’s Top 100 in the Positive Music genre. In addition family entertainment including comedians, a children’s fun tent, speakers, contests and much more!

The event will offer themed tents for the festival attendees to explore such as Military Appreciation Tent, Youth Tent, Discover Historic Virginia and Beach Tourism Tents. In addition, those attending the festival will be able to shop at numerous local vendor booths and have the opportunity to meet some national and local celebrities.

The music will be punctuated by a state of the art laser light show which will create a multi-sensory cornucopia of sound and lights that will absolutely heighten the patron experience and leave every patron smiling and upbeat!

The Festival is suitable for any and every visitor to the resort and offers a broad spectrum musical choice. Beachstreet USA  and The City of Virginia Beach has engaged as strategic partners in this endeavor. Bobby Melatti of Beachstreet USA said “We believe that over a three year period this event  has the potential to be 100% self supporting, fill adjacent hotels and restaurants with festival attendees and remain in lockstep with the family friendly City vision”.
