Band Bio: This is brief biography introduces you to Virginia’s rising Latin American Orchestra: Tumbao Salsero Orchestra... Tumbao Salsero was assembled by Robin Lugo in June of 2002. The orchestra consists of 12 band members that will keep your feet moving all night long with full latin percussion such as timbales, congas, bongos, two trumpets, two trombones, one alto saxophone, piano, bass guitar, & one female & one male vocalist. Our repertoir includes many latin rhythms, such as: Salsa, Merengue, Guaguancó, Son Montuno, Jazz, Bomba, Plena, and many more. We also have numerous Salsa’s and Merengues with english lyrics. Since its inception, Tumbao Salsero has entertained thousands of fans throughout the state of Virginia
