Houdini's Water Escape by Krendl

We are excited to announce that this Friday night, July 5th at 7:30pm on the 24th Street Stage Krendl Krendle will make his would debut of Houdini's Water Torture Cell Escape ... the most iconic stunt in the history of magic. Don't miss it! 

At 14 years, Krendl is the longest running performer in the history of Beach Street USA.

At 1000 shows on the 24th Street Stage in 10 years, Krendl is the longest running headliner for the City of Virginia Beach.

Krendl started in 1999 as a card magician working on the Atlantic St. sidewalk for Beach Street USA and has succeeded in producing most of the novelty and specialty acts that appear on the oceanfront.

In 2011, the Virginia Beach Tourism Board awarded Krendl the Attraction of the Year award.

Houdini came to Norfolk in the 1920's for an underwater escape, but this will be the first time in history that the water torture cell escape will be performed here in Virginia Beach.

This stunt has claimed the life of at least one performer, caused countless near death experiences and multiple injuries.

The water torture cell was created by Harry Houdini and is the most iconic stunt in the history of magic.

It was Houdini's last stunt before his death. He passed out in the tank during a performance and later died.

Krendl's shows are Free and open to the public.

Krendl performs every Thursday thru Monday from July 5-August 22
