Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Friday, March 20 | 3 pm

Join City dignitaries for the official dedication and opening ceremony with speakers to include Virginia Beach Mayor William D. Sessoms, Jr. and City Councilmember Shannon Kane. Following the ceremony, the center will open for tours. Be among the first to see the all new Bow Creek Recreation Center!

Grand Opening Celebration

Saturday, March 21 | 9 am - 4:45 pm

Experience all that the center has to offer with free admission and no cost activities which include group fitness classes, arts and crafts for kids, face painting, inflatables, open gym, pool activities, weight room orientations, and games. View activity schedule.

Free admission to Bow Creek Recreation Center continues through Sunday, March 22.

Bow Creek Recreation Center closed on August 25, 2012 for a long-term modernization project. Details about the project are available here.
