The Crystal Ball For A Cure- Raising Funds For Muscular Dystrophy Research

The Crystal Ball For A Cure will once again take over Halloween where we will go Haunting For A Cure for Muscular Dystrophy and ALS and to fund the Cerebral Palsy of Virginia Adult Day Recreation Program for adults with all disabilities. Mark your calendars now for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2012 and start planning your costumes for Tidewater’s premier fundraising event. The 11th Annual Crystal Ball, a Spooktacular Halloween Bash, will once again be an elegant evening with a new location and format including Italian wine tasting sponsored by Tuscan Wine Imports Inc. We will of course have our ever popular silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing, casino games and Costume Contest. The Crystal Ball fundraiser is sure to be another huge success - but only with the support and the commitment of friends like you.

It starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 12am.  It is costume optional or otherwise is cocktail dress.  Will have silent auction, live auction, Italian wine tastings, open bar.  Appetizers from 6:30 - 8pm.  Dinner after.  DJ the whole night.  Jazz band for first hour with access to MOCA art gallery from 6:30 - 7:15pm.  After dinner and the live auction (around 9:30pm) the casino gaming and horse racing will open and stay open til midnight.  There will opportunities for photos as well as each attendee will receive a commemorative wine glass and tote.   We are having a raffle for a $5800 ruby and diamond necklace - only 100 tickets will be sold - they are $100 each.   Lots of things to do and lots of fun.  Tickets are $150.
