Event Description

Come celebrate the Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter's 30th Anniversary at their 4th Annual Sweet Memories Champagne & Chocolate Brunch. There will be a delicious brunch, champagne, chocolate samplings from The Royal Chocolate, and a silent auction. This is an elegent affair!

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Steven DeKosky, who is the Vice President and Dean of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and an international leader in the field of Alzheimer’s disease research. Dr. DeKosky served on the National Association’s Board of Directors and chaired the Association’s Medical & Scientific Committee. He was also instrumental in developing the Pittsburgh Compound B to help detect plaques in the brain.

Proceeds from Sweet Memories support local Association programs and services along with national research initiatives.
